The StorVision MP4 Personal media
centre is a very compact and lightweight
flash memory device for multimedia entertainment.
The StorVision MP4 offers various features
accessible via its 2.5' TFT LCD Colour
display and its control buttons on the different
sides of the unit. Simply press the upper
power button and the MP4 will display 7
icons for the following features:
- Video playback
- Audio / Music playback
- JPEG Photo viewing / browsing
- Audio / Video recording
- Accessory section: Games, Calendar
- Setup / Settings
- FM Tuner
The MP4 has a built in speaker so you can
share music and video with other or you
can alternativaly use the supplied headphones.
You can record your voice using the built
in microphone, or you can also connect an
audio line in as well as a video.
You can use the MP4 as a music MP3 player
to listen to your favorite music.
The MP4 will store all recorded audio or
video to its internal 512MB flash memory.
You can provide more storage by using SD/MMC
memory cards via the available memory card
slot.
A 'transcoder' software is supplied
on the CDRom so you can easliy convert the
media files stored on your PC to a supported
format which can be played back on the MP4
device.
The MP4 has an FM Tuner built so you can
listen to your favorite radio stations.
Finally, the MP4 provides you 2 games (Snake
and Tetris) and displays the calendar. The
current time is always displays on top of
the screen.
Built in rechargeable batteries will give
you 6 to 7 hours of use.
You can access the content of the MP4 internal
flash memory by plugging it via USB 2.0
to your computer. The MP4 is supplied with
the AC Power adapter/charger, composite
audio/video to record from your TV, an audio
lead for Line in recording, a USB Cable,
headphones, and a CDRom + manual.
